At Elite Scaffolding we believe health & safety is paramount to the success of our business and appreciates the importance of providing safe and efficient, high quality scaffolding structures to ensure the absolute safety of our staff, our clients and their contractors.

That’s why at Elite Scaffolding, we have chosen to use Layher’s Proprietary Scaffolding system as we find this system extremely safe and aligned to our philosophies around health & safety. The equipment is light, adaptable and very easy to move in and around work sites.

Safety Features

A significant safety feature of our scaffolding system is the stair access tower. The stair access tower allows trades people to move efficiently between levels with out climbing ladders enabling them to do so with both hands free.

During the erection and dismantle phase, we use Advanced Guard Rails which ensures that as our scaffolders enter the lift above for the first time, there is already a hand rail in place greatly reducing the risk of a fall from height. All Elite Scaffolding staff erecting scaffold above the ground are equipped with a fall arrest system, which is used in conjunction with the Advanced Guard rails.

Access to the best people

We have a team of specialists within our business that will plan and build any scaffold to best meet your needs. On top of this, we have the support of Layher New Zealand which provides us with access to specialised technical support to help design more complex projects.
